Erica Visits me in CA !
I picked Erica up from SFO on Friday night for an action packed non-stop week of fun. We spent Saturday driving US1 along the coast stopping at Big Sur to check out the rare coastal sequoias. Sunday we spent in SanFransisco ... walking the Golden Gate (well, halfway ... we got the idea by then), diner at Fisherman's Worf, and a night time Alcatraz tour (definitely recommened !). Erica spent Monday in Loma Linda (just east of LA) interviewing for an International Medicine Fellowship which went well. After I finished work up on Tuesday, we drove out to Yosemite which was about 3 hour drive from Mountain View. Wednesday and Thursday were spent checking out the sites and sounds of Yosemite, what a beautiful place! Friday, we flew to out to Tucson for Erica's friend Pooh's wedding. We had some time before the wedding on Saturday to drive around Tucson and check out the awesome Sonora Desert Museum. The wedding and reception that night were alot of fun ... great people, delicious food, and of course lots of dancing ! Early Sunday morning (tooo early), we both flew back home.
